The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) has notified us of the results of our election for the SIGUCCS Executive Committee (the ‘Board’). The following people will serve as elected officers for a three year term, beginning on July 1, and ending June 30, 2020:

Please join me in extending congratulations to those who were elected, and in thanking everyone who ran. We had a strong slate of candidates, with a remarkable depth of experience. There are appointed positions to the Board that will be announced at a later date, by the incoming Chair, Laurie Fox.

This team worked on crucial issues including reinforcing the viability status for SIGUCCS as a Special Interest Group for ACM, restructuring the annual conference to reflect changing needs and market trends, expanding the professional development options, and revamping our marketing and outreach efforts. It has been my privilege to have served alongside them as Chair, and to have had the opportunity to contribute back to an organization that has meant so much to me personally and professionally for more than 20 years.
