Welcome to the SIGUCCS Community!
SIGUCCS is more than an annual conference. Its a group of higher education IT professionals who share, collaborate and communicate throughout the year. There are several ways that you can be involved in various activities of SIGUCCS:
1. Become a SIGUCCS Member
Members receive benefits such as discounted conference registration, participation in the Mentoring Program, members-only webinars, access to the ACM Digital Library, and opportunities to network with colleagues to find solutions for the same challenges you face.
Individual membership is $25/year. Make an investment in you. Join SIGUCCS.
2. Connect Online
SIGUCCS provides an email discussion list for ongoing communication and collaboration between people who are interested in discussing user services issues. You’ll find that many schools have the same challenges and are willing to share best practices, ideas & help point you in the right direction.
For a more informal connection, join us on Slack. We have a variety of channels for making the right connections.
Participate in discussions, keep in touch with SIGUCCS members, keep posted on upcoming events, and share information. We are also active on Social Media sites.
3. Attend a Conference
ACM SIGUCCS sponsors an annual conference each October or November. For more information, visit our conference information page.
4. Join or Start a Local SIGUCCS Chapter
Local chapters provide a mechanism for collaboration and cooperation within your region.
