One of the things I enjoy about attending conferences is the opportunity to visit new cities. Debbie Fisher from the Citadel has gathered information about  local things going on during the conference – check them out!

I noticed on the site they are offering Island of Lemurs, Butterflies, and Pandas in 3D as well as several Cosmic Light Shows to music–one of which is for Dark Side of the Moon – I love that album!

City Creek Center – voted “Best Retail Development in the Americas” – hourly fountain shows, waterfalls, creek that runs inside, retractable glass roof.

The Gallivan Center has a lot of shops/dining, etc. and does have an outdoor rink, but the rink is not scheduled to open until Nov 14.

The Gateway – downtown restaurants, shopping, events, etc.
