Volunteer to be a Track Chair or Reader

The SIGUCCS 2022 Conference program committee is seeking volunteers to participate in the paper writing, editing, and submission process. This rewarding opportunity is a great way to be part of the annual conference!

What is a Reader?

The primary purpose of our readers is to provide authors with respectful and useful feedback in a timely manner. They also ensure all authors use the official ACM Proceedings Format templates to write their papers. They may be asked to reformat any papers that do not use this format. Readers also help authors input the correct ACM classification into their paper as per this website: https://www.acm.org/publications/class-2012

What is a Track Chair?

There will be three track chairs for the conference. Each chair will manage the paper review (reading) process by assigning papers to readers and following up on deadlines.

When will we read and edit papers?

Paper Deadlines for Authors are:

  • September 26: First Draft Due
  • November 21: Final Draft Due

How do I volunteer?

Contact Beth Lynn Nolen, Conference Program Chair by September 3. She is also available to answer any questions you may have!
