ACM Open Access Publishing

ACM has moved to an open access publishing model starting 2025. This means that certain publications require a fee (APC -Article Publishing Charge) to be published. SIGUCCS will continue to publish in the ACM Digital Library however you will have the choice of how your publication is represented and must make your choice during your proposal submission.

Publications in the following categories are APC-eligible and would be subject to the author paying the APC upon publication.

  • Research Article (5+ pages)
  • Short Paper (less than 5 pages)

Publication in the following categories are not APC-eligible and would not be subject to the APC fee.

  • Abstract (2 pages maximum)
