GALA Information

The GALA will be held in the St. Louis Gateway Arch.

It is about 5 blocks from the hotel. Since this is a national park, there are some regulations that must be followed in the facility which are listed below. It is important that you wear your name badge at all times; it is your ticket for the evening.

Accessible taxi cabs are available if needed though there is still a 3 block walk from the drop off point. We can help arrange a taxi if you need transportation to the GALA.

You can arrive at the Arch Visitors entrance at 7:00pm, where you will go through a security checkpoint. They will search bags and purses and you will walk through a metal detector. NO knives (including pocket knives), weapons, etc. are allowed. It is faster if you leave bags and backpacks in your hotel room. There may be a bit of a line here while we get everyone in. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR BADGE to be admitted - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Dinner will be a buffet and is being served immediately.

A tram will leave about every 10 minutes. You can view a picture of the tram to the right.

  • There are two films available for you to view while visiting the Arch:

The film is shown at 8:30pm on the first American-made World Odyssey ULTRA 70 wide screen projection system with a four-story-high screen and THX sound.
